Not quite the way it all happened, starting with the route!

 

unlike past drives when Ken has had to remind me, I called ahead to Tellico Grains and they are looking forward to seeing us on Saturday.

 

Wait! What? Is there a star in the East?

 

Typical drive.... 11 signed up..... 25 cars showed up...

People.... ya all need to sign up for drives!!!!

For some reason I always forget this road. Next summer I'll have to make sure to get up there again.

 

Phill had to go at a slow pace so us older folks could keep up with him!

 

Phil always does a great job of this drive, perfect pace and all the right stops. Tellico Grains makes some amazing pizza too.

 

I think, in 10 years of going to the Dragon, I've driven the skyway maybe 5 times. Unfortunately, two times involved getting stopped because a bike went off, and once it snowed.

In the summer, I'm hoping to avoid snow
