Watched the video of this road... that must be so trippy in the car seeing the road and then nothing. I am tempted to go just to experience it but I'd be wayyy slow.

there are parts of the road as you're approaching the rise, see the road beyond, but as you crest the hill, the road drops and goes completely another direction.

its a ride to remember! jvf1 and I drove it CW on the way home in April, and a local in a 91 sentra was hauling ass- knowing the road helps.

I first drove the Devil's Triangle in 2011 on the way home after Tail of the Dragon event. The road was god awful with washouts and mud and rock slide debris across the road. Decided to try it again September 11, 2014 and led a small group of BamaDave, Ken and Wingman. The road had been completely repaved and was really fun. It is a sweet drive with good road surface, nice cambers, undulating road, with delicious curves that adhere to the natural road bed, and trees right at the edge to keep you honest. The video below is from 2014 drive clockwise. Enjoy.

See if the OKI group will take that route like a couple of years ago.

Hey Jamie. I'm trying to make it up for this drive specifically. Will either be there AT rollout or At the end of the dragon where all the other drives split up.
