Default DFR2023 - the "I Made it Home" Thread

We were a late checkout at 11:00. One of the last 3 S2000s in the Lodge lot. Made it home at 6:00 EDT and to Amy's house at 7:00. She drove the Black Widow from my house to her house in Columbus. She then took her 16 year old daughter out for a spin in the S2000.

Thanks to Tim and John for organizing another great event.

See you in the Spring for RTD 2024!

Made it home to Detroit 5pm ET, sails were smooth! back was a little sore as we fleww for 9.5 hours stopping just twice for gas. Ended up splitting from Tony in Lexington as he veered west towards Chicago. Another successful trip!

Shoutout to Tim and John for organizing.

Hoping to be back in the Spring for RTD 2024!
Cheers!

Was on the road by 10am EST and made it home around 3pm CST. We went down a squiggly road in GA on the way back and made three stops total. It was great seeing everyone again! Thanks for all you do and I look forward to seeing you next April!

Joy and I left around 11 and checked out Mt Mitchell on the way home via the Blue Ridge Parkway. We had done just about the entire BRP but never went to this cool state park. We hit wicked thunderstorms on the drive home and some flooded roads so took us a lot longer than we had wanted but made it home intact. It was great seeing everyone again and I echo what others have said - Thank you John and Tim for putting everything together!

Glad to see everyone made it home. As we all know I needed some of the e85 so I made plenty of stops to get my fix.

Hope to see everyone again in the spring!!!!!

Had a great time Friday. Great to see everyone again, and meet folks I’ve not met in the past.

Hate that I had to leave out early, but it did get me home in time to exercise and cook dinner.

The tonneau cover worked great until my trip back on I-40 and some big rainstorms. I was able to keep the speed up and I stayed relatively dry.
