Default To The Dragon Crew (A farewell)

It's been a long haul and I want to say thank you to all the graet (and a few not so great ) people who have made my organizing the Dragon events so enjoyable, weird and sometimes even wonderful. To Denny, Mike, and David, a heartfelt thanks for being always there when the strange (a lot) and the unexpected (also a lot) arose. To Leslie G. for her smile, enthusiasm and willingness to step in when help was needed, To the hundreds and hundreds of people I've shared Dragon and Fontana, and Devils Triangle and all of the other great raods in the areaa sincere thanks, it was great riding, following, leading and just plain talking to you. If I didn't mention you by name, please realize that I consider each and everyone of you as friends.

Now you have some new people (well, new only in trying to get everyone together, plan all the drives, dinners and the associated tcotchkes and other tasks as assigned) to give a hard time to and lend a hand when it's needed. John Gilmore (vortamock) and Tim Vandergriff (SkyLadyZ) have agreed to attempt to herd this group of squirrels, not knowing what they were in for. Give them a couple of weeks before you start giving them a hard time, please.
I may show up now and then but even if I don't, I'm definitely going to miss all of you (well, some more than others ) but again, my most sincere thanks for the good times we've shared.

-ken

Added: I hope you all have a great RtD2023. I know John and Tim have worked hard to make sure this will be a memorable meet for all of you.

You did a good job Ken! We all understand why you passed the baton on to others (You finally paid off his mansion on the French Riviera)!

Ken… Thank you for everything you’ve done for the s2k Dragon family. I sure appreciate your dedication, for so many years, to make sure every detail of these trips was handled and all the rest of us had to do was have a great time. My sincere thanks…

Ken, sure wish you were coming this spring! It won’t be the same without your smiling mug.

xx? Hmm, at times it felt like LVI years. It was always a pleasure (well .... mostly) and I always looked forward to it.

I'm glad I got to at least meet you at our first DFR and Classic Hondas on the Dragon last year. Hoping you get to still pop up to an event every now and then
