To The Dragon Crew (A farewell)
Words can't tell me how I feel. You have always been a true friend and I'm proud to have you as a close friend. Always will remember some of the great time we have had together. You will be truly missed but not forgotten. Take care and again thanks for some of the most expensive dinning experiences I've ever done. By the way one day we need to go back to Cuncina 24 and this one is on me. Hopefully the same chef is still employed there. I'll bet you would know too!!!

Ken! Thanks for everything you've done for this community and for me personally. Thank you for taking me under your wing and showing me your methods of doing things. Thank you for trusting Tim and I with the event moving forward. Most importantly, thank you for being a good friend. Whatever you do in the Spring, have fun and be safe! See you on the next drive!
Jeeze, I step away from my computor for a week and missed the latest news.
But I think the post title is click bait. Thought you were dead already or something.
The good news is every time I wipe my feet on the blue floor matts from Smurfett, I will think of you. LMAO.
I have never been to a Dragon event where you were not either involved or hosting. Going to miss that. Who am I supposed to pick on?
Seriously though, thanks for putting up with me(And the Canadian gang) for many years.
If you ever find an excuse to make it to Canada, look us up.

I may be back in Ottawa one of these days, I spent a lot of time in Byward Market, Parliament Hill and saying hello to the Governor General (how's he doing by the way?). I konw you're from the banana belt and don't really know that much about the far North (Ottawa? Okay, Gatineau) but I sure do miss Nate's Deli on Rideau Street.
Actually hearing someone finish every sentence with "eh?" was kind of nostalgic (well, for the first 10 or 15 minutes anyway). Take care Dave, say hello to Iris for me and drive carefully, Things are a bit more crazy on the roads here after the pandemic.
Ken - this has been a special trip for me over the years and I really appreciate you keeping it going and doing it so well for so long. You've helped me continue to participate in a tradition I look forward to every spring with great people, thank you for everything!

Well it's been 10 yrs. and we've attended most of the Dragon events during that time. Never been to one you didn't organize or advise on. Thanks for your friendship and all you've done for this community. As BD said, "you will be truly missed, but not forgotten". I'll have to get back on the "Good Morning" thread and keep up with you there. We'll see you on the next drive whenever it may be.
Thanks to everyone. You're all special friends to me and I'll miss seing (and hanging out with) all of you great people. I'm leaving you in great hands. John (vortamock) and Tim (SkyladyZ) are both working to make sure the Dragon experience is a great one for everyone and an even better one. Please be sure to keep the rubber side down, the sunny side up and enjoy every minute with special friends. And STAY OFF THE YELLOW! (I beliee I might have said that once or twice before).
