Default Dragon Fall Colors (pics) :)

My wife and I did a few runs on the Dragon yesterday. Guess what we got to play with...

Boy did my S get a good exercise. When he finally stopped to chat with us, my brakes were smokin'!! He was quite surprised and impressed that my stock S was able to hang with him... My S did us proud!!

Looks great, I was thinking of heading out there this weekend as well but the rain kept me home.

Yeah, we lucked out by going Friday. It was gray the whole way down, then when we got there, the skies opened.

Lots of fun!! Sorry you missed it this weekend...

Good to hear from ya Derf! I hope you two are having fun at FC!

Oh I wish I had gotten some video of this run, but I am **still** waiting for the mount from Rick's. I am very bummed that I didn't get to use it. However, I am sure he's been busy over the past week or so prepping for this weekend, so I'll ease up.

I did consider using the side car mount like I did at the Dragonball, but with the leaves flying everywhere, I decided to just enjoy the drive and not have to worry about the debris.

I do have video from the Dragonball, but I'm not too happy about how it turned out. The quality was great, but just too many slow people making the drive "not so exciting". Maybe I'll find a 30 second fun section and just post that... Hmm...

Be sure to post your FC experience!

Dave - Jason and I must have missed you by a couple hours at most. I think we were out around 6pm until 9pm. Great night, minimal traffic as well. We heard about the Elise from numerous people; all were duly impressed. Saturday was a zoo - about 15 Minis, a bunch of Mustangs, a dozen or so Vettes, about 30 Z3/Z4s, the usual litany of bikes, and a buttload of leaf-lookers. I don't think we got a full run the whole day. Great weather though. There was a bad bike wreck, too. Haven't heard if the guy was ok, but they called in the helicopter to get him.

Funny... We probably missed each other by less than 30 minutes...

Glad that Friday evening was good for running the dragon. The time we were there, we had to make countless stops to get some distance between us and the slow cars. Very Frustrating...

I must admit that this trip was good for taking pics, plus having the run with the Elise just past Deal Gap made the trip worth it.
