Guess you need to define "official", and who defines what is "official".
The registration for this event opened in late March, to give people a chance to plan their fall schedule.
I know I saw a thread that was for another fall event, but it is gone now.

My name is Leslie and I can hardly wait til September! I went up last October after missing the Fall meet and drove part of Moonshiner, the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway and caught part of Six Gap on the way home. I didn't want to leave. Can't wait to meet everyone and spend more time on the great roads up there!
