If logistically and timely possible, this would be THE DRIVE in the fall - "Epic drive to Sierra Nevada"

28 -> 64 -> 215 -> Blue Ridge Parkway -> 276 -> 280 -> Sierra Nevada Brewing. We can even park in the "Low Emission Vehicle" parking.

Stops could include 2 waterfalls and devils courthouse!

ok.... I may have my spouse "kill me", but I'll try to work an angle to get there for DBR.

 

Careful, there appears to be a DBR and a DFR this year.

 

The DBR thread seems to have disappeared. It's DRAGON FALL RUN (DFR)...and it's September 15-18 at Fontana Village. One great group, one great car (okay maybe a couple of different ones as well), one great place.

 

Looks like I will be missing this one this year. A business trip to the fatherland is getting in the way. I'll be thinking of all the nice roads you guys will be driving on while searching for the few stretches of Autobahn left without a speed limit.
