For Dragon Newbies
I would like to add one more, as a few events woke me up to this realization.
NEVER EVER EVER EVER RUN THE DRAGON OR HELLBENDER ALONE. ALWAYS GO WITH SOMEONE (another car, not passenger). There are many locations, that if you fly off a cliff, and there are no other cars around, no one will find you until possibly HOURS later. I had a close call where a biker ran me off the road (wrong side of the yellow) and if I had been coming the other way, I would have had nowhere to go but off a ditch cliff. I was also alone, so no one would have noticed. Radios also don't work there unless people are REALLY close to you, but if you are knocked out, it won't help you.
So, to reiterate.....
DO NOT GO ALONE. MAKE SURE YOU ROLL WITH A GROUP, OR AT THE LEAST, ANOTHER MEMBER.

x1000USE the BUDDY SYSTEM!

Seriously...I suffered an accident in my S2000 on 28...in fact, the same **EXACT** spot where SS2000GT went off

Luckily...my car slid around and came to rest about 4 inches from the embankment...I still don't know HOW that happened...everything should have had my car going over...

Thank God it didn't...if I had...I may not have been found for hours... My accident happened at night and although I had other S2000s following, I was a good 3 curves or so ahead as I left the Deal's Gap gas station WITHOUT waiting for the other folks.

I was incredibly lucky. Don't be foolish and always practice the "Buddy System." For me, it was a Godsend to have Bryan (SC_Highlander) and Jamie (JA_HUmphrey) right behind.

Even knowing he was down there, it was hard to see the car LOOKING FOR IT!
So, I have to agree, the buddy system is KEY!

I guess months is an exaggeration...for someone like Ron, it would be a matter of days...for me, months.
