I'm in! When are the leaves changing? I bet there is some GREAT scenery there from the Dragon and the "Cherry Cola". I'd also be in for some tunnel hunting and hiking. The only time I can't go is the weekend of Oct 12th.

Sounds like October 19th is a good day for all? I'm there contingent on having a job at the time. Hopefully everything will work out ok Maybe some fresh rubber, too.

Anyone want to plan a drive out for us? I'd like to hit some tunnels and the Dragon a few times (ok, maybe more than a few times). Skip the cherryhole, I've driven it 4 or 5 times and seen what there is to be seen. Sondra tells me that John Speed (?) had an extensive knowledge of the roads worth driving, including those with tunnels. I don't know what his username is though. I thought we could scope out some different hotels in Maryville to see if there's a better place for future DragonBall runs.

 

Crap... I had planned on being in Michigan for a track day on the 20th... In fact I have to be there, to retrieve my wheels. Dang it!

You might want to ask Mack about how to get a hold of John Speed. I met him at an autocross along with Mack about a year ago. I don't think (not sure) that he has an s2000 anymore... He went with Greg and Sondra to Japan but I haven't seen him on the board for quite some time... seems that i remember reading a thread somewhere that he sold the s2k!
I don't have the immediate time to map something out till the 13th (got three exams comming up... arghhhh)but i will at that time if no one else steps up to the plate before me...

Not sure yet, but I might well be able to make it on the weekend starting Friday, 10/11 thru Sunday 10/13.

 

That weekend would be fine for me. I was considering another drive in Ohio that weekend, but would rather head to TN.

The SVT mustang club is having a gathering that weekend, looks to be 10-20 cars involved. October 26-27 is almost definately out - there is a bicycling club having a ride through the Dragon that week.
