Damn. This sounds like it could be fun. I'll talk to Andrea about it.

What's the weather like up there around that time of year?

What other activities are we talking about, Bear hunting or Bungee jumping off the Dam?

Last time Maggie and I went up (WTD09) we went white water rafting. The same place that does that also rents inflatable kayaks, we had planned on doing that and also they have a zip line that Maggie planned on doing. I am out for the zip line. I don't do heights.

Fontana Village is hosting a group hike, pool tournaments, tag football, a hayride, live music on a couple nights, a basket making class (LOL...????), ping pong tournament, scavenger hunts, tree trimming (with hot cocoa and cider, also a bonfire! HOW FUN), a turkey shoot...(dunno what this is, but you win a turkey as a prize), and a church service for those who are inclined....<---read, not me. Any of course...the Dragon. It will be fall so the colors will be awesome in the mountains! I believe the days will be comfortable and the nights will be chilly...perfect weather, but who knows? I tried to look it up online but I guess I didn't try very hard, I'm not worried. I think it will be great! Oh yeah, the zip line thing, sounds amazing here is a link if you want to read about it:

Anyways, think about it.

Sorry I can't make this, it sounds like fun. I will be in Auburn MA for Thanksgiving with my son.

By thanksgiving almost all the leaves will be brown and on the ground up there. Mid-Late October is when you want to be there for the colors.
