How about a typical badge size with a dragon head facing the viewer. The dragon blows flame which covers the badge and left behind is text that says dragon slayer or something to that effect.

Seems like it should be doable in about a 6 frame gif.

Its a shame the badge requirements are so small the Dragon map would make an awesome background

ok, thanks for the size information! Ive got the basics drawn out now and Im starting to assemble it. Its gonna be a.... wait... cant let the cat out of the bag... what am i thinking. Ill jsut do it and see if you guys like it. Can it be any dpi?

Ok, sounds great! Ill just hit him up after I got the 1 final gif put together... he should be able to work it backwards from that. And also... I would like to see other peoples ideas for badges as well as it never hurts to have other options

Think big though!!! You never know when/if this design could be carried over onto a t-shirt or print

anything shown on a screen is only 72 dpi which is why web is done at 72 because your monitor is displaying that. save a version at 300 dpi for print, and do a 72 version for badges.
