Facebook Group
Hi everyone,
First of all, I just want to say that it was great meeting you guys this past spring. Good cars, good drinks, and good company!
I wanted to stop by and ask the group. what they thought about creating a Facebook group page for the Spring and Fall events. Meaning both events are discussed in one group. I recently got done with the Porsche Rennsport Dragon Rally and they have a Facebook group that is pretty involved. Easy to post picture and pin announcements regarding the event. I know many people on s2ki are also active on Facebook and it would be a good opportunity to expand the Dragon events to those who are not familiar with s2ki.
Personally, I think this would be a really great step to revive interest in the s2000 Dragon events. If you guys also agree, I do not mind helping create/manage the group and could add @kgf3076 and @Vortamock as admins. I am really passionate about the s2000 community and help organize events for the s2k GA group, am one of the moderators for the s2000 CR Owners group, and the admin for the s2000 CR Buy and Sell group. Please let me know what you guys think!

It was great meeting you too and I hope you can make it in the Fall! After talking with you in the Spring and seeing some posts in some S2k FB groups recently, I agree that a dedicated FB group for our little shindig would be good. I want to get an IG going too. I've been tossing around some ideas, but wanted to flesh those out a bit further before setting anything up. I'll send you a PM so we can chat more about it.

I was just thinking about this very thing the past few days. Not so much in terms of managing the event on Facebook but more of a way to get more owners involved that don't spend as much time here. I usually do share on FB with the link from Event Brite but I think the only people who see it are the people I am friends with on FB(not many of them are car people). If we had an official FB event page there is opportunity to increase awareness of the event across that platform and potentially others. I am not a big FB user myself but I can certainly see how we could benefit from having a presence there.

There is this FB Group set up in April 2015 that many might not know about. Check it out Honda S2000 Dragon and Pictures on FB. Mainly set up to post pictures and videos. Not much in details for the spring and fall S2000 meets. JM2C . Enjoy

No worries! Facebook is not for everyone and that is understandable. The purpose of the group is to increase visibility to others who are not on the s2ki platform but are on Facebook.
