I think ONE thing that would be nice is perhaps leaving the bar open one extra hour on saturday night. A few of us were wandering around after the banquet looking for signs of life

Fontana was significantly and noticeably improved from a year ago.

1. Our cabin was much cleaner and in better repair. The TV even worked, much to my girls' delight.

2. Service was MANY notches up - the employes were helpful and smiling, and caring. There were also more of them, so they weren't so harried.

3. Food didn't run out, and was MUCH better than last time. In fact, it was great.

I was really pleased with the way they stepped up!

However, there are a few areas that could still use work:

1. Phones in every cabin.
2. An on-premises cell tower - at least we could roam!
3. Wi-Fi villiage-wide at somthng better than 2mbps. I have a wi-fi phone I could have used - but not at that throughput rate. Heck I'd buy them a wireless-g router at curent prices....

I give Fontana an A+ for effort and improvement, however, and I hope they keep it up!

Dave

You must not have wandered back to the Bon Fire. There was plenty of life there.

Our cabin was much nicer than last year, however the lady rung me up for a much cheaper price than what I had paid for the first nights downpayment. Now that I've had the chance to go back and look at their site I can see what the actual price was supposed to be. Other than that slight confusion I got zero complaints. The general store is a life saver haha, no butter would suck!

The staff at the front desk, when I interfaced with them, Thursday and Sunday were OUTSTANDING. Really polite and patient. They were personable and friendly.

The food at the banquet was excellent.

The cabin was clean and well stocked with dishes, towels and utensils.

I couldn't ask for anything more. I was VERY happy with Fontana this year.
