its nothing like import alliance. There are canadians at this event. They drive literally ALL DAY LONG, eat lots of BBQ, and show up late for dinner. then they go to the beer swap and all they talk about is ketchup chips and beavers.

see you there.

The Dragon events are not a car show per se...... the event is more about having fun on organized drives (some at higher than the posted limits by 5, 10, 20 mph) with fellow S2000 owners... plus spending time mingling and talking with other owners.

Its a bunch of great, fun loving people who get together to enjoy their cars and each others company and knowledge.....

Friday night you can stroll amongst all the S2000's (and other cars) on the ballfield........ heck, you can do this all weekend long in the parking lot if you wish!

All I can say is please drive within your limits.... we do not need people to try and "prove" themselves on these roads, that just ends up not ending well.

Looking forward to meeting you.... its a weekend you will never forget.... if you mingle and try to meet others!

And by the way...... the OKI group (southern Ohio)... is the group to seek out and hang with!

If they can't get you into trouble... no one can! (except the NYC Metro group!)

(I'm part of that illustrious OKI group... and proud of it!)

Some things I would have liked to have known my first time:

Bring a radio or two...we'll all be on channel 4, but most people aren't listening to them except in the mornings and during the drives

Keep the itinerary with you at all times

Dont get a cabin unless you want to be anti social Stay in the Lodge

Dont try and keep up with the guy in front of you

Pull over if there is someone faster than you behind you

DO NOT CROSS THE DOUBLE YELLOW EVER

Introduce yourself and even if you're an introverted person (like myself), enjoy the company of fellow s2000 owners.

Also, there's nothing more important than leaving your ego at the hotel room. No need to show off on that road!
