I imagine in time one or two of those will switch off 129 and start covering the foothills, especially if there's an accident or reports of, uhh, large groups of vehicles moving at a high rate of speed.

The "bad" thing about the Foothills Pkwy is that it offers some easy opportunities for cops to just stake out if they want. Dragon always seems a little tougher (especially with radio communication between S drivers 
). But just running solo on Foothills at mach 1 ain't really the brightest thing to do as the fuzz can just pop out of an overlook, or a side road or two, etc.

Federal Pkwy fines (based on tailofthedragon.com) have jumped from $150 to now a discretionary $500 on the spot if a cop wishes. Or even worse, depending on the demeanor of the driver when the cop is writing the ticket, the cop can force a court appearance...where the judge can fine the driver up to $1500 in fines.
