Its time to get the I40 convoy plans pulled together. I suggest we have the same meeting points as last time:

Raleigh/Cary.........10:30 AM (Fuel)
Place: Shell station at EXIT 287 (Harrison Avenue).


Statesville.............12:30 PM (Fuel & Lunch)
Place: Mi Pueblo.
Directions: From I40 west, take exit 151. There is a stop light at the bottom of the ramp. Turn right. Then turn left at the third stop light. You can see the restaurant from the light.


Asheville.................4:30-5:00 PM (Fuel and Dinner)
TBD (which means I can't remember )

Those familiar with Asheville, is there a restaurant we can get in and out of fast at 5:00 on a Friday afternoon?

Any other suggestions are welcome.

I remembered about dinner. We didn't eat until we reached Johnson City. I don't recommend that again. If we eat in Asheville we can take the southern route to Alcoa. That way we get to run the Dragon on the way to the hotel.

Man! I hate to miss this one. This will be the first Dragon run I've missed in 2 years, but.....drat and darn it, Ron and I will be in Hawaii that week. So...have fun and be safe.

You'll be in Hawaii and Sal (BlackMoon) will be in Cancun. These are nothing more than tourist traps. They are way over rated. Who wants crystal blue ocean water with shadow casting palms and the cool breezes with the feel of warm beach sand.
