Default I'm Back at The Cave

We had planned to stay at Fontana until Monday but the weather changed our minds.

We were resting in our cabin on Sunday when the snow and sleet began. as the day wore on, it became clear that if we stayed much longer, we could not get out. The road in front of our cabin sloped on about a 45 degree grade. Around 6PM, we staretd packing and throwing our stuff in the S. Away we go. Slipped and slid going down 28 to 74. I was frankly glad to be away from our accomodations. No phone, heat sometimes, all the furniture wobbled. Even the stove and toilet were mobile.

Anyway, we got back today none the worse for wear.

I had a wonderful time. It was so good to see familiar faces and I met so many great people. I wish I could have met everyone but with an event this size, that's hard to do.

The runs were super. I got a little out of shape one time but it was a not so gentle reminder that I'm not the fastest out there and I'll leave it at that.

Lady luck was smiling on me during the drawing. I can't wait to hook up that gear set. I learned before I left that it goes in the rear end

There will be videos and pics as soon as I can find my cameras.

See y'all at DBR

Very nice to meet your wife, too. I can't wait to see your video of the Saturday Caravan to the Dragon.

Dear Lee,

Here's a video from Japan comparing AP1 vs AP2.

BEST MOTORING VIDEO WITH GEARSET

They also have a red S2000 with a swapped final drive gearset similar to what you'll be installing. Watch the straight line acceleration difference. That's the general impression. Less fun for long roadtrips (I use earplugs), more fun around town.

Hey, congrats on the gears! I was the berlina in your group drive around the waterfalls! It was good meeting you. I'm also the only idiot going the wrong way in your video . I just drove an hour and a half trying to get there in time... i was still 30 min late!!! Next time I'm staying at the lodge. I live close but apparently not close enough!
