Hey everyone, please provide an opinion. If we do a Saturday night banquet, it'll be a little more than $50 per person. That's expensive enough that I might not even participate.

Alternatively, we could grill out ourselves (Dave's idea). We're thinking we could grill some hamburgers and hotdogs somewhere. Everyone pitches in like $5 or so and we spend time hanging out in a parking lot with the cars.

I'm looking into whether the ballfield or the bottom of the dam would be the better option. I'm leaning towards the bottom of the dam, as long as they're cool with it.

Thoughts? Opinions?

I'm happy to help out with the grilling and could also bring something like fresh bratwurst.

I like the cook out idea, and the bottom of the dam would be a great place for group . We need more opportunities to gather and hang out as a group!

I like both options. I think 50 per person is a decent price for a banquet, at this venue, with the S2000 crew.

I have been there 15 years in a row for it

Bottom of the dam would be a great hangout - last fall I talked with Steven and Niles with Classic Hondas on the Dragon about if they need a permit to have all those cars down there on Sunday and they said no, it's public area so shouldn't be a problem. Might be a good idea to have a backup place if it's raining - is there a nearby park with a shelter?
