Richard,

It is so good to see this post. I am glad you are making a quick recovery and know you wiill be back at it soon. It was very heart warming to see the Atlanta group took good care of you. I really think the S2K community is a very caring group of folks. Wendy and Kalan (Huskergirl) also did a great job helping take care of you at the scene.

Get well soon my friend.

Jay & Joyce

Richard, Tom & I are glad to hear that you're ok. I hate what happened, but I'm sure we all learned something from it.

Ouch! Torn my ACL in Desert Storm. It is amazing what science and medicine can do these days. I hope your body responds well. Keep the faith!

Just got back from the orthopedic surgeon...good news and bad news...on the upside, looks like no surgery - the damage to the ligaments was pretty much just bad sprain/bruising - just need physical therapy...the bad news...the fracture is in the joint - so I can not put any pressure/weight on my left leg for two months...so I'll be hobbling around on these crutches for the next eight weeks

Had the stitches in my face removed...looks good, but still not sure if I will have scars...the stitches in my ear come out on Monday...will most probably have a scar there since part of my ear was missing when he stitched it together...

All-in-all I suppose I can't complain, considering the alternatives...thanks for the support and well-wishing from everyone

Great news! At least you don't need to put any weight on your left leg to play Halo on the XBOX!
