Wish I got video of him, but we were behind a GoldWing during WTD that was actually moving along quite well. Faster than many other sport bikes I'd been behind.

I heard rumor there's a local with a goldwing who used to follow the crotch rocket guys to take video of them, and would typically be able to keep up. Not sure if this was him or not, but it was certainly an impressive display. Was maroon/burgundy IIRC.

Maybe they turn about as well as choppers?

there's a guy with the screen nic "YellowWolf" who used to have a GW & he could embarrass most sportbike riders. Set a 24-hr record up there, too, but they wouldn't recognize it as he averaged higher than the speedlimit, even w/gas stops, etc. Yes, that was him on the burgundy GW during WTD

Yeah...but you'd never think that considering MOST Goldwings on the Dragon are doing 20mph. But I've seen this Yellow Wolf (or whatever) out there...I've always wanted to get him to film me driving as the one time I did that with a fellow S2000 owner, he had the lens zoomed way out and made it look as if I was doing a whopping 15mph.
