Default My "Baby" Is Ready

Just finished doing a complete fluid change.

Mobil 1 and Honda oil filter.

Transmission has new Penzoil Synchro MTF.

Diff is now filled with Amsoil 75-110. I think the gears are a little quieter with the Amsoil.

See y'all soon.

I did the same + clutch bleed about a week ago...Amsoil is the shit Everything seems but more...um...solid. Used Honda MTF though...haven't heard any reviews on the Pennzoil. What do you think?

Brett, I have used Honda MTF,GM Syncho MTF, and Penzoil Synchro MTF.

I think the GM is a little better at making smoother shifts but I decided to try the Penzoil last change. It's good but I think GM might be a little better.

I've tried Honda MTF (original & green), and GM SM with Friction Modifier. By far I feel like the GMSMFM is the best for smooth shifts, but it seems to degrade after about 5,000 miles which is too short of a change interval IMO. Especially considering they jacked up the price of it in the past year or two. Haven't decided what I'll be putting in next.

I find the Honda green to be the worst of what I've tried. But in my RSX-S it's great. Go figure
