Default New to this group

A good friend from the Atlanta area who is a S2000 enthusiast(screen name RLT) talked me into joining the S2000 group for the Rock the Dragon event. I've done it on a sport bike once, but never in any of my cars.
I'll be coming down from Indy with a 1998 NSX and looking forward to the event.
Hopefully I'm not intruding on your group, but I have done a few cruises with the S2KI group from the Indianapolis area and they always were very welcoming.
How do I sign up for the Newby Drive as well as the Friday are for Franklin?

new people are always welcome! you won't find a more friendly and inviting bunch, and you'll be one of at least 2 or 3 NSX's that usually attend. might be more this year. don't forget to register and reserve lodging!

to sign up for the drives just post in their respective threads on here that you're interested. the organizer will add you to the list. then just be sure to show up at the correct time & place. also I STRONGLY suggest getting an FRS radio with a headset so you can communicate with everyone when you're there.

Welcome. You're in good company with your MR-2. Might be as many as 4 (at least 3 for sure). Glad to see you're going to join us. Drop into the Days until RtD2015 forum and join in the madness. A great bunch of people (ooops, didn't mean to say that out loud). Send Mike (lovetodrive2000) or Denny (looter) a PM and I'm sure one of them will be happy to have you join in the OKI caravan to Maryville for dinner and then the night drive across the Dragon.

If you are coming down from Indy... we can meet you in Berea Ky...We stop there for gas & a lunch break, on Thursday..( mid morning ) We usually get there around 11...11:30AM We can PM phone numbers, a little later, if you are interested ... Better yet .... You can always come over to Cincy, on Wednesday & have dinner @ our huge gathering @ Montgomery Inn...Then you can spend the eve here...& do the entire "Cincy Caravan" with our rather "LARGE" group, going down....
Follow the Cincy Caravan forum under the Dragon Events .... The Caravan, and dinners... are an event, in themselves ..!!!( you will have a blast )

Thanks for all of the comments. I am very good friends with one of your members RLT. I'll be trailering my car down, so more than likely I won't bother those who want to caravan down from the Indy-Cincinnati area, but I appreciate the offers. I know, why don't you just drive the car down? I'm one of those waxers who wants to keep the front end road grime to a minimum. LOL I would rather put the car in a enclosed trailer and not spend the time to detail away bug shit and rock chips. Personal preference.

That's going to be an interesting drive. You might end up starring in one of Killboy's picture sessions. Be VERY CAREFUL! There is no easy way to get to Fontana that doesn't have a large number of very tight curves.

NSX, hmmm, yes. Well, you will need me to drive it just to be sure all is well with the, er, um, plasma drive in it. Yeah. that's it.

welcome and enjoy. see you there.

darcy

P.S. I used Trakktape for my front end the first year, then used 3M's spray on clear bra. both worked exceptionally well at keeping road chips to a minimum. this year i plan on just buying more 3M Paint protection film and permanently applying it.
