I re-traced our path from Saturday on the way home. Across Foothills Parkway (with stops for photos of mountain scenes and wayward turtle who ALMOST got pancaked by an F250), and one last run across the dragon. The dragon was not crowded....lotsa fun! While stopped at Deal's Gap, it started to rain a bit. I put up my top, and much to my dismay, the passenger window would not go up. So, for the next 175 miles I drove with my passenger window down in the rain. That reminds me; I need to go call the dealer.
I had a great time on my first group event. Thanks Raul for setting it up, and to everyone for making it an enjoyable trip!

Brandon and I got home just fine. Thanks everyone - we had a great time! (By the way, we didn't end up mountain biking after all - it was a total wash out! He did go kayaking though while I drove my (VERY DIRTY) S home in the rain. I only hydroplaned once, but I stayed on the road!).

After one last run on the Dragon, Huskergirl, s2knavigator and I took a top-down trip to Robinsvile and then on to Ashville. The farther east we went the more rain we saw and finally had to give in and put the tops up.
