Default Question about the BEER!

Who can still taste that incredible hefeweizen home brew? I have lost sleep thinking about that stuff.... anyway, I'm thinking about brewing my own batch.

I don't recall the screen name of the guy who brought it.. can anyone help me out? I have found many other hefeweizen recipes, but I would prefer to use the recipe for that batch because the brewer added the lemon into the brew... I have not found a similar process online.

Can someone please identify the guy who brought it so I can inquire about the recipe? Thanks in advance! --Mike

I have been dreaming about it as well. I think it was Habitforming's co-worker that made it if I remember correctly.

Mississippi is one of the few states where it is illegal to brew your own beer, even if it is in limited quantities and only for home use. Doesn't mean people don't do it. Just makes it harder to get mail-order supplies.

But at least our roads are more interesting than Louisiana's.

Yes, if you mean filled with "character" such as potholes and bumps, then yes... they are more interesting.

I found a site where i can order the supplies for cheap. Do you wanna be the guinea pig for my first batch Mike?

I've never tried brewing, but I've been reading about it for a few weeks and it doesn't sound terribly difficult... after all, the Germans are good at it!

Related question; who brought the Victory Ale Hop Devil, and where did you get it? I didn't try it until after we got home, and thought it was excellent!
