Default RIP Dead End BBQ

I was in Maryville over the weekend and received the bad news that Dead End BBQ closed for good on 12/30/16. Their Knoxville location is still open, so if the Hilltops & Hollers drive on Saturday wants to make a 1+ hour detour to Knoxville (with difficult parking arrangements), then Dead End is still on the table. Otherwise, I'd suggest Barley's in Maryville, a solid Pizza place in Maryville with 40+ drafts on deck Have a look: Barley's Taproom & Pizzeria Maryville - Great Food, Beer and Music in Historic Downtown Maryville

Between Maryville and Knoxville is sweet P's BBQ and soul house. BBQ pork burrito. You will not be disappointed

There's still Dead End BBQ in Knoxville, it's just a long drive from Fontana

My (future) inlaws are from Maryville, so I make it up there all the time.
