Default Rock the Dragon - April or May?

I have an opportunity to return RtD to April. In 2020 it would be the first weekend in April. Now the question is:

April or May? Have an opinion? State it below. I'll look at the responses and take it into serious consideration.

If the second weekend of May is the only date you can get from Fontana I would say April. Mother's Day weekend will be a hard sale to all the younger S2K owners who have children. Sure the weather should be better in May. The Canucks want that so they can thaw out their cars eh!

I vote to keep it in MAY...I lost my mom 2 years ago so Mother's Day is dead to me. its pretty unpredictable up here early April- we had snow and salt just 10 days ago! By MAY, there has been plenty of time to wash away the grit off the roads and thaw the cars out.

MAY! MAY! MAY!

May is better for me. Snow, road salt and pot holes up here limit driving and prep time in April.
Mother's day weekend is a PIA but at least the car (and driver) are ready by then.

Agreed. If we can push this one week (or two weeks) earlier, that would be optimal.

Ken - you do sooo much for us, and we can't thank you enough!

I vote April to avoid mother's day weekend. Mid to late April would be better than first week in April though.
