The easiest way to explain it (and the quickest) is to swipe the verbiage from the registration website:

It’s time to kick off the Spring season and Rock the Dragon, May 07th-10th at Fontana Village Resort! Come spend some time in the Great Smoky mountains and experience thrilling roads, wonderful sights, and a big, warm S2000 family. Gain a newfound respect for the car while making unforgettable memories with some great characters.

The Dragon is US Rt. 129 and the segment from Deal's Gap, NC to the "Gravel lot" on the TN side is 11 miles with 318 turns. It's one of the best sports car driving roads in the US. If you're ever in this part of the US in May or late September, come join us. It's an amazing experience.

I would say a designated weekend that a big group of S2000 owners all go to the same place to drive some fun roads, meet up with friends and tell some lies.
The weekend gets called RockThe Dragon(RTD) and 2020 is just to keep track of what year it is. If you are within 12 hours of the event, it is well worth the drive to attend. Imagine, give or take, 100 S2000's in one place.
Oh, and for the new to the event, this particular thread is just to kill time while we await the event to arrive.
