Long winter here in DC/Maryland, plus crazy bad work schedule so Rosso hasn't been out significantly since October-November, heck you'd think I was in Ontario.

Got Rosso out the other day and re-washed her, changed off the 18" GTC-01's with PSS and put on the CE-28n with S04's for the twisties, checked all the brake pads & systems.

Shake down cruise/whipping today for a business appointment near Philly, half interstate, half backroads, avoided all the tolls just for extra fun. A lot at 60-80+, touched triple digits few times just to make sure the speedo still worked with the extra digit.

Tonight, I removed the 28 pound donut which normally cradles my 900 watt JL amp and removed my 42 pound, 10" JL Stealthbox subwoofer and foam tool tray from the well. Wired up my 10 pound 8" JBL BassPro SL alternate sub in the donut space that I got just for trips like this where I need to reduce weight so I can bring a week's worth of clothes, booze, work stuff, tools in a backpack and fit behind a real spare front wheel/tire that clears my BBK (PF01 17x8+50) from my track car since it will be a 2500+ mile trip for me.

I'm pretty much left with a small duffel to the left, backpack inside of the wheel, briefcase/GoPro camera bag right, beer/wine/bourbon wrapped and squeezed in where possible. May put the Surco rack on the trunk so I can bring my big waterproof duffel and can take it off while at FDR but I hate the lack of rear visibility when it is on the trunk. Looks like Jan isn't coming so that makes packing a lot easier and I can either split a room with someone else or can share the room I have with someone else.
