Cherohala night drive isn't that far, but not sure we could do that and be back for an 11:45 Dragon run. We'll see.

I'll be doing both. Just need to figure out the best nights.

I'd be interested in anything you may come up with. I'd like to do both drives at night, the order to be determined I guess. If I'm not mistaken the skyway drive is about 100 miles return ( 50 one-way) ?

Be careful who you take on these runs. Last year a group of us stopped at the gas station at the base of the dragon and a random said he wanted to follow and would jump in the back of our group. When we left I lead and he jumped in behind me. He got squirrelly and lifted off the throttle causing him to hook of the road. If there wasn't a pull off where he lost control he would have gone over the edge into the trees. The guy right behind him had a video of it but can't seem to find it.

Jump to 5:40 for the "incident"
