RTD Pics and Vids
Driving wet mountain roads you better that it serious as you well know. I remember a couple years back I didn't take the roads serious and you know what happened. A lesson learned well and I have no plans in repeating that off road adventure. Thanks Mike the Pig Burglar.

I laughed at the end about the commentary with Tom on my driving. You did indeed have it correct, I always felt like my tires were awesome in the tighter stuff and I could easily stay with Tom but on the high speed sections, especially downhill I always felt like if I continued accelerating through the turn I'd fly off the road. I found myself making mini straightaways within a long turn so I could tap the brake, take off some speed, and start accelerating all over again, like a quick reset button. My car is one of the first 300 MY2000 cars and I run stock rims and the Direzza tire right below the star spec (DZ101?). Anyway, I haven't lost control in the turns b/c I have a healthy fear of doing so. I have an 80's 911 that I've had for nearly 20 years that has similar tendancies to swing like a pendulum when it lets go and I learned to drive fast on that car. I used to be running tight to Tom's bumper when he had his last car but difficult to touch him with his new one. I think the VSA helps with driving confidence but I know he's gotten quicker too.
