All the more reason to stop every now and then and remember that it's all fun until it's suddenly not. Glad that everyone was okay, and that the car was the only thing being towed away. Stay safe out there and always keep in mind what can happen.

It can go very wrong, very quickly out there and you don't even have to be doing anything wrong. I've had a few close calls from large trucks crossing double yellows around blind turns, Harley rider laying it down right in front of us, nearly hitting a black bear at night and someone's engine letting loose oil at the entry of a turn.

Glad the driver(s) were OK.

^Two years ago when I was out there a black bear cub ran across the Dragon.

Sorry to see this. Did the two vehicles make contact or was that merely coincidental?

I've seen video someone had driving by of the S2k on the side of the road in the tree and the Miata further down on the left in the ditch. I think it's coincidental as the driver never said anything about hitting another car but that he hit a tree instead

I think I saw this same one posted on a FB group. Guy thought it was fixable, but given you could see the drivers side fender bowed in by the door (side not impacted) I am betting 99% the main part of the frame is bent. But in the end, they walked away and that is the important part.

I'm sure the frame is bent. Look at the gap at the hardtop plus the passenger door looks pushed back. It is totaled!

Saw it up close and personal. The passenger side was extremely crushed (like the wheel was in the passenger floor crushed). The frame is toast, but the engine bay was not completely crushed. So, he has plenty of usable parts for another build.
