looks like many attendees are going to gatlinburg on thursday. i never seem to get enough dragon time in, so i'm going to spend that day breaking in my star specs and enjoying the minimal traffic and enforcement (hopefully)

anyone else planning on hanging around that day?

 

cops have been out on thursday the past few meets. i got my ticket on a thursday a few meets back, ever since then i consider thurs-sun bunk...come up a day early and ill be out there all day with you

is there a facepalm smilie? i'd have to leave here at like 3am to make that shit! 5-6 hr drive, and now a huge chunk of the expressway fell down the side of the mountain, so i guess it's detoured or down to one lane. i'm sure it will cost us another hour. stiff clutch should be fun in that traffic

i don't know if they have or not, just assuming they haven't, since i thought the estimated completion date was right around the time of our trip. being a government job, it will undoubtedly last an extra month or two. gotta pad those pockets...

 

wish I could be up there sooner but I promised Bama that I'd roll up there with him to the dragon, I'd like to drive it without the leos there and if you do get there in the morning, I'll do a few laps with you before we take off to gatlinburg.

 

Frei I am game for leaving tuesday night and crashing with Patrick or getting a room at the microtel that night just let me know if you want to change plans man. I want to leave early wednesday morning or driving up tuesday night. Let me know what you would like to do man.
