So far, I am the only one in my area who has actually registered and got a room for the event though several others did show interest. A lot went to the one the past week. So it may only be me coming up from my area...

And I am very shy. Who wants to be my friend?!

This will be my first Dragon event as well.

When you drive up and sign the arrival board you'll probably meet a few S owners. Friday morning on the Newbie Dragon Run you'll meet a few more, for some it will be there first time, others just like to be there for support. Then you'll go on the Franklin drive and meet a few more wonderful S owners and sit at the table with people you hardly know, but by the time the lunch is over you'll have a large group of friends. By the Saturday night banquet you'll think you went to school with all these wonderful people that you've only known for two days. You'll get up on Sunday go to the gap for breakfast with them and then run the Dragon one more time, or two. Then you'll head home, looking forward to next years reunion with all the friends you've made.

Make sure you stop by the lobby every evening..... there are a few alcoholics that sit there telling stories of what great drivers they are!

Seriously.... stop by the lobby in the evenings.... its where a lot of us hang out when not driving.....

When you see people sitting there... just ask for Denny, Lee, Dave, Mike, Greg, Gene, Ken, Joerg, Jeff, Bob, David, Jason, Jason, or any name, someone will answser.....

Just come over to the group, you will be welcomed right away.....

I can definitely attest to how friendly and welcoming the group is. The first time I met anyone from the forum was a few months ago at a reunion dinner in Pittsburgh. Everyone was definitely extremely hospitable and within hours it definitely felt like I had known them for a long time. I've kept in touch with some of the people and hope to meet many more on this trip. Definitely an outstanding group of people!

Can't wait to drive with everyone!
