Default Tail of the Dragon Article

It's been almost two years since I made it down to either of the Dragon events, but I was quite shocked to find this article in my local newspaper (Chicago area) today. You guys may want to read it but I warn you. It'll make you want to go this weekend to the Dragon.

Hopefully the wife and I can make it to the Dragonball Run this fall but apparently there's no room for a two year old in the S (the wife said the trunk is not an option).

That guy is obviously a wuss.
Don't know why he referred to the "hills being peppered with rustic and abandoned Tennessee barns and farms". Totally clueless there.
He's right about participants being "like a swarm of gnats". Weekends are approaching the level of suckfest certain times of the year. I wonder how much more fame the area can stand before this become a real liability.
Wish there was some way to put a lid on it.

That should discourage the leaf lookers.

The rustic farms are probably those along 129 between Maryville and the lake. There are a bunch of farms.

I saw the pictures a few weeks ago on killboy. Neat looking Plymouth, but what an idiot to take it there. The only thing the article inspired me towards was to build a Plymouth Bus. Coupe hot rod with the right stuff underneath to make it fun.
