Default Taping Front End for WTD 07?

How many people here are going to use painters tape to tape up their front ends on the way to the dragon, or for the whole weekend?

Why is it different than any other time you drive your S?

Well-

1.) I'm not driving my S, I sold it, I'm bring my IS. And I want to keep it as clean as possible

2.) The Drive from Chicago amongst S2k's and Trucks will surely leave some "battle damage" on the front end.

3.) Not to mention it took quite a bit of scrubbing to get all the bugs off from last year.

The main reason I wouldn't want to is that pictures wouldn't come out that nice with Blue tape all over the car.... and I wouldn't want to tape the front end twice. I may just do simple wide open areas to protect the essentials.

Is it Duplicolor that make the protective paint you can wash off?

1. No one will be looking at your lexus. They are going to be looking at all the S2000's around.

2. Don't follow so closely and you won't have a problem. EVER.

3. Waaaaaa. You have to wash cars regularly anyway, why is this trip any different.

BTW--Painters tape on the car is ghey.

1.) Its ok, I know you'll sneak a peek.

2.) I've seen rocks go airborne from like 100 ft back.

3.) I'm bringing a two bucket wash system so I'm going to wash down there this time around. The last time I let the bugs solidify all weekend and back, took a lot of elbow grease to get some of those suckers off.

4.) I'm leaning towards NAY, but noticed quite a few people last year had some on.

There was a post for the spray on bra from Griots Garage, but I'm not sure how easy clean up would be for that.

I drive 30 miles each way to work everyday on the interstate. I've learned that if you keep your distance you'll be ok. A trip like this isn't worth it if you're gonna worry that much about it. At the end of the day, it's still a car. If you have to do it to have fun then go for it. Otherwise, enjoy the trip and have fun!!

In the end I think I'm too lazy to tape up the front any how. But was just wondering if there were others out there who were planning on it.

hey thomas, You know how I know that you're gay?

You have a rainbow bumpersticker on your car that says "I love it when *balls* are in my face".

I'll photoshop the dings out of the pics I take of your car. hows that for consideration.
