Here are a few items, just as a reminder...that you might want to bring....along !!!
Keep in mind....if you have never been to the Tail of the Dragon.... You "WILL" be in an area that you will "VERY" likely hear "Banjo Music"....( in other words...you are in the boonedocks, my friend )
Soooooo....althought you will not need "ALL" this, there are some things you might want to consider, packing....and if you are bringing a partner along, that is not familiar with "EXTREME" driving conditions....a word to the wise....motion sickness...."Prevails"...

excellent list denny but you forgot 100 watt light bulbs so you can see in the bathroom

i cant take credit for it, ken went into robbinsville last year and bought some and i dont think he blew any fuses
