Default What's it cost to RTD?

I'm just doing my taxes tonight and decided - for interest sake- to total up the cost to do RTD from previous years. This includes all costs incl. fuel/entry/shared cabin/food traveling from Ontario to Fontana and back (600 miles each way give or take). Fuel was about $240, the cabin was about the same, the rest was BBQ and grits.
Total was $644 USD. Now, I did buy new tires just for dragon use (RS-3) and they aren't included in the cost here.

anyway, i just wanted to know.

Sometimes you just don't want (or need) to know the cost of things. Did you add on the plus side the number of friends you made, the good times you had and the hangovers?

Canadians make friends at the events?

How... they are never around, always out driving!

On my first week long dragon trip I'll bet it cost a grand with all the lodging, food and fuel. Of course those fine dinners with Ken can get expensive quick . I will say it was one of the best dinning experiences I'll have. After you add tires and good brakes for up there it can get costly. All and all worth every penny in my book. Soon people be safe on your travels. Later BD Oh yeah the people I'll meet during all the road trips up there too. At least some of them!

exactly. I just wanted to give people an idea. For me it's not the cost even with the horrible exchange rate. This event is the event of the year- I look forward to it all year long. i love that a car brings us together- a car. What a great weekend!
