I know the Tampa crew encountered some law enforcement that were eager to give tickets. The group behind me of 5 all got tickets on 28 on the 4 lane hwy heading to Fontana 70 in a 55. I also got hit with radar several times off the dragon. Who else wasnt so lucky?

 

Our Franklin drive that I was leading saw the preview of that ticket-frenzy before it went down. We were following that cop in our direction (opposite ya'll) for about 1.5 miles. As we maintained the speed limit, he continued to pull further away from us over time, but still within eyesight. Then a blast of S2000s went by in the other direction (your group)...he whipped a 'U-turn' after ya'll...then within 5-10 seconds I saw that next group coming up . I radioed on 4-0 that a cop was running ahead of them, but I'm guessing they weren't on our channel cuz...well...your post .

57 in a 40. Actually, he was right behind the barrier of the parking lot we pulled into after the dragon roll out saturday morning...

I was going so fast the NC State trooper couldn't keep up(his words exactly)....until I slowed down

I should of gotten a ticket or worse because I was doing more than double the posted speed limit (45)

 

57 in a 30 just before the gravel lot... good thing I had slowed down lol

 

One of my buddies flew by a cop on the dragon. The state trooper already had 2 pulled over vehicles so he just kept on driving LOL

We kept our Active Duty army friend in the back. He got a written warning and a verbal, no tickets for our group.
