I'm tellin' ya, only like two or three miles from the hotel is Mellow Mushroom Pizza. You should do that on Friday night. Usually they have great soft pretzels also, but the time we went in Knoxville, they burnt our batch.

Sounds good!

Maybe one of the locals can recommend a place to go that'll be able to accomodate a large group of us. DSR, Kronos - I know you're not from Knoxville, but do you know of any places we might want to hit up on Friday?
I know a few locals...

We go downtown on the river some times, I think we went to Tennessee Grill last time. There's lots of places, just depends on how big of a group gets rounded up. I try to avoid the restaurants around our event hotel because that whole area is way too busy, though I like Carabba's (for all the wrong reasons ). We'll figure it out

I went to Carabba's with Mikey, Debs and Jen last year. Food wasn't bad, but the server was definitely a weirdo... claiming to be from Jersey, and whatnot... they called him out on his story pretty quick..

Last time I was at Carabba's (last summer I think), the waitstaff and particularly the hostess were smoooooooooking hot. The hostess was about 5'10" and good looking. I don't really remember the food.
