Where are you from Nick? We won't be including ANY other cars in our driving groups and while I certainly can't stop folks from joining your drive groups...our event only covers what we have planned out so it will need to be clearly shared with them that the driving routes are not part of WTD8 2010 (even if they by chance cover the same roadways).

Our event is only for registered attendees. As we get into our driving groups for the day, we will be checking all drivers and passengers for event lanyards. Those who didn't register won't be allowed to drive the routes of the event.
If i wanted to drive with you all i would register but buying tein flex coilovers and still being on a college budget sucks so im going with clubrsx to hang out with some friends i met last year. and i was talking about at night while walking around drinking a cold one and seen you all around a fire figured id say hello to meet some s2ki guys. but honestly with the first impression your giving me idk if i want to. i didnt even say anything about rolling with your group, jus saying that ill be up there and figured id stop by and say hello at night, and i live hr and half from the dragon. i live even closer to cherohala skyway in tellico. But if your not opened to drinking a few cold ones even after im drinking my OWN beer as im walking through than thats fine by me.

02s2knick, I referenced the driving groups and organized driving for the event. We're all adults here, if you want to say hello to a fellow S2K owner/enthusiast, it's all fair game. Just understand that this event is like a private party and it's only respectable that you have a "pay to play" mentality in that regard. Just saying hello is one thing...coming to our organized dinners, bonfires or beer swaps is another.

FYI. We had 5 cancellations from folks because the Dragon will be closed (all registered attendees received an email from me on this).

If you want to cancel...please do so BEFORE April 7th. NO CANCELLATIONS (refunds) will be honored after April 7th.

I'm registered and did not receive the email. Since this is my first time attending how does this impact the event? .... besided the obvious dragon driving.

You will have an "Awesome" time.....

....as stated many times before..although the event is centered around the Dragon... There are far too many roads in the area to have a great time on, than for you to cancel, just because of an 11 mile section.... Stick with us...you will have a ball !!!

...Besides...it's about the people...and you will meet some of the "Best"....!!!!
Perfect! Thank you.

I'm looking forward to seeing some other roads, I've only ever done the Dragon & Cherohala, this year should be really good.

And yes, the people are really great

I'm canceling due to some work matters that came up, and Fontana Village would not refund my deposit for a cabin because I called 29 days prior to me staying and they have a "30 day refund policy" (the manager at that place is a real a**hole and I will never stay there again!!). If someone is interested in canceling their Thursday night and staying in a 2 bed cabin for the night shoot me a PM. They are charging me 110 (or close to this) and I will give it to someone for $50. Let me know if you are interested.
