REGISTERED! This is my first WTD event, but not my first Dragon experience! This was actually my christmas gift to my dad - bringing him along for the fun and letting him drive my s2000 for a few days in the Smokies I cant wait!

EDIT: my driving directions say 548 miles! I'm curious who else is coming from afar for this!

I am sure some Ontario folks are coming and I know one of the regulars is coming from Boston.

ME! I have been trying to get someone from Allegheny to go tho this event for three years! - when are you leaving and what are your travel plans? I posted up a reminder in the Allegheny page about this event.

I will be leaving on Wednesday morning - I have a few more miles to travel than you, Plan on spending a night somewhere within a 1/2 days drive of the event and arriving around noon on Thursday. Let me know your plans!

It's true. People drive countless miles to see _ME_. Who am I to disappoint?

It looks as if Urban Dictionary has us spot on...

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?...wake+the+dragon

1. Wake the Dragon

The first bonfire of the season. Always accompanied with drinks and lawn games.
Broseph1: Broseph, I know you're coming to Wake the Dragon at my place on Saturday.

Broseph2: You know it Broseph!

Hmmm...I'll take 318 curves in 11 miles as "lawn games."

I know that's the only reason I drive the 2235 miles to/from this event
