i like the idea of a la carte activities

 

Raul I'd like to lead a dragon group drive on Thursday night. You the guy I talk to for that right? .

 

Itinerary really covers Friday and Saturday...anything before/after isn't really part of WTDX. If you're interested in Thursday night, feel free to start a thread on it.

 

Ok so ill get some of my thoughts together and make a post. Sucks that it won't be apart of the official WTDX though.

 

I lead a drive Thursday from Fontana to Maryville to meet the OKI group (It's already posted). Do you want to lead another group or come along on the existing one? We go to Maryville, meet up, go to Gatlinburg, eat dinner at the Park Grill and then do a a night run across the Dragon back to Fontana. Yoiu're more than welcome to come along and lead one of the groups back to Fontana or start another drive or whatever.

 

I'm in on Ken's drive. Just an FYI.

 

I liked the ballfield get together.... great time/place to mingle, meet people....

I'd pay $15 for that less than great food.... but have the time to meet folks!

 

Yep, never said that part of the event wasn't happening...we'll still have a gathering because I agree with you, a great time to catch up with friends...but the meal option will likely be a la carte. As we get closer to the registration cut off, I'll take a look at the number of people attending and coordinate either a burger cook out or BBQ and then announce how much per person/plate folks can expect to pay. It will be considerably less than $15 per person so I'm just trying to keep basic registration lean.

Another option could be to scale back on the Saturday banquet and budget some money for the Friday night piece on meals...

 

Yea seeing your other thread now, I didnt realize you did dragon runs as like that. I thought it would haev been a run along the dragon just because it is the path towards Fontana. Too tired right now to think... Will post tomorrow

 

Raul, on the event attendee list, it doesnt have the FluKy15 beside my name like I wanted it to have. Is it possible to have that added? Do you have that kind of ability to modify that?
