Yeah Thursday morning looks good for me too... Planning on getting the 8am ferry from Dover then make my way down at a steady pace to either Strasbourg or even Ulm like others have mentioned. Not really up for racing down there, but at the same time not gonna not hang around. Would be good to go in a group of us so see you in Dover!

PS. If anyone knows of good accomodation in these areas let me know!

Cheers!

Hi

I've booked the 8am sailing from Dover on the thursfay morning. I'm planning on as near as a straight run to Ulm in Germany as I can. I've got a room booked in the Maratim hotel for thursday night. I'm meeting up with the German way down crew there for the final leg on friday morning.

The two cars from the Isle of Man are on that 8am ferry also.

We were going to play it by ear depending on how far we can get on the Thursday. We don't know if our pace is going to be compatible with anyone else as we won't be stopping much and will be getting a move on where sensible and that's why we've held off on joining a group so far.

Having said that, if Ulm is achievable in the day, it might be a cool trip from there, at least for a little while for us to do some video footage. As large groups tend to move too slowly for us, and I don't usually get to drive the S anywhere I don't know like the back of my hand I do want to have a bit of driving fun, just for the sake of it

See you on the ferry?
