Dear all wishing to join the GWDA trip.
After emailing Deibit it is fairly evident there is so much to do and see in Germany, and after all its your money your spending, therefore I have opened the doors (well probably flood gates) to air your opinion on what you would like to base the trip/meet generally on.

please let me know soonest so i can plan in more detail for the preferred choice.

PLEASE only respond if you are seriously considering joining the trip!!!!

please disregard to last two, i'm in an stupid mood!!

(apologies to those who dont know who Jeremy Kyle is (google it!)

...he basically feeds on human misery, on behalf of the unwashed masses

Ok I'll go First
I honestly don't mind about the accomodations location. My only preference would be to do another few laps of the Ring. I'd like to do this on my way home, just to be on the safe side as I'd hate to miss the entire trip over a mishap on the Ring

Other than that, I really enjoyed the mountains passes through the Alps. But I also know its a decent spin down and theres millions of other great roads in Germany, So I'll go with the flow

many thanks LFB for replying, i assume you've done the poll?? well all i know is someone out there is a true social retard n wishes to spend their time on the Jeremy Kyle show

(i assume they've already been to something i have organised, and have wised up )

Yes it would be nice to get the ring in, and quite rightly maybe on the final day (all depends where we base, and where we end up) but there is nothing stopping anybody taking in the ring

Hello from Cannes

I know I'm on the "second list" for that potential trip to Germany, but I chose the Southern base and roads in Bavaria region.

I really enjoyed driving through passes during the EUROMEET, and I consider that this kind of road is particularly adapted to the S2000's roadholding!
Even if I enjoy driving high speed on long motorways...
Hope to meet you in Germany!!
Best regards from the French Riviera
Alex

Hi Alex, thanks for the reply

i am still drawing up a rough interary (of which i got quite a bit done last nigt) but still not definiate routes to and from key areas i think people may want to do and see. (currently, based on the poll its central - so we can achieive the ring and black forest easily, plus other routes, time dependent)

unfortunatley it doesnt look like we may go to Southern DE/Bavaira, but as i said to Gaspode its still early days on the polling and the whole focus may change to the south, which i dont mind as i can source routes for both regions (central and Southern) and when i close the poll on sunday i can publish routes etc early next week.

it would be great to relive some of those tight roads and hairpins of the alps, but if not, you will have to fun of travelling both ways over them (lucky thing)

hope this helps?

Rob

Me, Burn and Tintop drove a section of the B9 that runs along side the Rhine.
Absolutely beautiful scenery and buildings and I got the distinct impression that there would be some fabulous roads just 2 minutes away.

Maybe something to consider.

Hello S2000 Friends!!!

I just wanted to poll for being part of that funny and fantastic next event in Germany!!!
No matter where the itinerary would (or should, I don't really remember my English Language lessons...) be.
I'd be glad to be part of it!!!
If Possible!!!
I was sticked to my S2000PASSION's Friends during EUROMMET (and I Think it was normal, 'cause I wanted to meet them all).
The Routes and Itiniraries for that GermanMeet, chosen by the Majority, will be my choice!!!
I agree with what you propose!!!

I will be with you wherevere and whenever...
If You Wish so...

Alex
