Ouch
I think you were in front of me at the beginning of saturday's route... I am sorry about the car, but fortunately cars and material things are among the few things in life that can be repaired..
cheers!

That could be. You are the Spanish-speaking German?
Anyway, i got info from the insurance-company today that the S would be brought to a Honda-garage for inspection today or tomorrow morning. Hopefully I will get som info tomorrow of what is wrong.
The more we talk and think about it, the more lucky we feel.

I have an insider in NAF (Norwegian ADAC partner) through my work of cartransporting, and she checked their log from accidents in Germany. It seems that my car ends up back in Norway in a few weeks, to fix the engine. Estimated cost was EUR 8000,- plus...
I wonder why they want to do it up here, when few have a clue about this engine. And the engine itself will be more expensive...

So sorry to hear about your car troubles, but as AquilaEagle said, there are lots of breakers in the UK with full motors much cheaper! We are working with some of the UK guys to get contact for shipping one to Germany for us, so if you are interested, please PM us, perhaps we can get a good deal on two engines! =)
Glad to hear you are both safe and sound - as has been said already, cars are replaceable, lives are not!
All the best,
Lando and Kristi

Thank you, Lando & Kristi!
We still wait for definitive answer on who have to pay for the engine. I still hope that the insurance-company do what they are paid to do, and help me out on this. There were no indication of that something was wrong, no oil-lamp, no high temperature on the instruments... But if everything do end up on my shoulders, then I can need a little help to get an engine.
Merethe says hi also!

As other members said, I'm glad to hear that you both are safe after such an experience.
Life is more important than material, even if the costs are what they are.
Spinning on a motorway at 200km/h, you were very lucky.
I hope you are going to find your beloved S2000 soon.
And I wish you all the best for the future.
Keep the Faith!!!

The autotransport-company I work for got an order, which means work for me as a disponent, from NAF/insurance-company the other day for my S! Finally something is happening. A truck is sent down to Erlangen to pick up my car on Friday, and deliver it for inspection early next week. I really hope I get a new engine back, if not a have to see what my not-so-fat-wallet can get me...
