We are currently deciding on Charities which Euromeet proceeds should go to....

Last Euromeet 2009 we supported Medicin Sans Frontieres and L'Aquila Earthquake fund (nothing to do with me! - it was an earthquake close by the area) and we raised over £11,000.

The Charity should be worldwide, or at least cover Europe.

I am in discussion with S2K Club Italia, but does anyone have any suggestions.

Once we have suggestions, we will discuss with each country organiser and come to a decision.

We also need ALL the help we can get (Well I do) for everyone to try and get prizes for the raffle and auction - it is impossible for one, two, or even three people to do this alone, especially with full time jobs, on top of all the other organisation that goes on, so PLEASE PLEASE help out - there is not long now!!

 

Guys, you won't beleive how much I am begging you all to help with this - it is one of the hardest things to do, and I really really need your help......

MANY hands make light work - it is just too much for me to take on as well on top of all the other stuff that needs doing.

I really need someone to take it by the horns and co-ordinate

Any update on this Ian as from past experience it always makes it easier when scrounging to say 'we are raising money for xxxxxxx' ?

 

The only update is that those 2 charities are nominated.


Seems people generally don't give a shit about what charity to raise money for.!
