Default Cleaning plastic rear window

Hi there

Before I went on holiday, I cleaned the car, and found that the rear plastic window was really dirty. I have never done anything special to clean it.

It has not been a problem since I'm driving top down 95% of the time.

But what do you guys use to clean it with ? I guess normal window cleaner isn't the right stuff to use !

Meguiar's plastic cleaner and Meguiar's plastic polish with a polishing cloth will bring the window to near new condition.

Look up the Meguiar web site for a distributor near you.

I have been using Zymol products on my S2000 for everything. Zymol makes a plastic cleaner and a wax for the plastic window that will keep you plastic window as clear as a glass window.

Zymol car polish is great as well, it is really easy to work with and does a great job.

Thanx Luis

I've tried their web site, and it says nothing about any Meguiar dealers here in Luxembourg, so now I've requested informartion from the importer in Holland.

I've seen so many persons from the US give their products so good ratings !

Sun,

if you have information from the Dutch importer let me know. Perhaps I'll be able to bring it with me to Spa!

Hi Guys

I actually only got the following mail back from them:

==== CUT ====

Thanks for your e-mail.
This message will automatically forwarded to our Paris office.
This will untill August 28th.
Thanks for your understanding.

Meguiar's Europe

And have not heard anything for two days, so I'll give them two days more before getting angry.

But I actually got a question today from my colleague, which also own a S 2000. Hes asked how you actually get in a clean the window on the inside, but I just laughed and told him that that required agility

But told him I've put this question up about what to use, and he told me he bought he's stuff at the local Porsche dealer (he's a ex Porsche owner). So I'll drive over there one of these days, to get a bottle of the stuff and try it out.

For those that can't wait to clean the window. I just use the product from BMW and it's ok for me.
