Default Forums Merged

Due to the very low activity in the Portugese and German/Swiss forums I have merged them into the European Community.

This means that this EU Community will now cover all of Central and Western Europe.

If there is enough demand for dedicated country forums (Like Greece) Please let me know and it will be considered.

Well UK=North-West and Greece=South-East, seem like the "borders" of whole Europe!

yes and the UK should drive on the right.. use Euros, and measure in Km's

it can get very confusing driving LHD & RHD cars in the same day

I was wondering how are the gears in a UK car? Is 1 closest to the driver or is 6 the closest?

1st is still on the left hand side..

it took me about 2 years of daily driving to be fully comfortable driving continental (LHD) cars.. i.e. drive at the same speed.. I think my lap times would be pretty close to identical now - though you get a different view of the corners depending where you sit

it's certainly easier to use your right hand to change gear than left..
