Yes it is, its an official Honda press release.

rumors are it will have:

-100 kg weight reduce
-lighter chassis
-aluminium body panels
-less noise reduction material
-manual soft top
-no factory A/C
-no factory radio
-uprated brakes and suspension
-2.2 liter 260 ch

not worth what?

yes you could do the same thing to a standard S2000.. but nice to get an official version also.

I meant that you can also do same or better modifications to the car. Maybe my expectations are higher cuz i want the special edition of the s2k to be much better than the actual one.

But maybe your right lets wait and see the what honda is going to come up with..
